The service in this place is horrible.. I think this place purposely hires people with a chip on their shoulder/attitude. Maybe this is an intended part of the East coast ambience?!?! Hahaha. The first and 2nd times I went in, I got weird looks from the staff. The third time, the guy who was supposed to be working the counter sat on the floor rifling through some junk for like 4 minutes. And then, a girl walks in, and he gets up and serves her before me. Lovely.
Anyway, the subs are very decent. Exceptionally tasty, and huge, which is good if you're starving. |

I stopped at Delaware sub shop while getting lost trying to find Lake Travis. I was hungry but didn't have any cash and needed to get food at a place that took credit cards. Suddenly, I saw Delaware Sub Shop and knew it was the place for me...I grew up in Delaware and lived there until I was 16. I stopped in and the service wasn't good...the girl was on the phone the entire time and I don't think she washed her hands or used gloves when handling my food. Nevertheless, my roast beef sub was delicious. Too bad there aren't any of these shops in Austin. |

Great place to eat at. The staff are always friendly and helpful, no matter what shop you stop at. Their toasted subs are especially delicious. And the sweet peppers on the subs are to die for! |

Delaware Subs(central Texas) about 11-12 locations, simply is bigger, better, and has much more quality than any other sandwich shop that dares to call itself a sub shop. |

The Philadelphia cheese steak sandwiches at Delaware Sub Shop are truly outstanding. Unfortunately, I may never get to savor another one since my daughter's family no longer lives there. Nothing where I live (that I'm aware of) even comes close. |

Every time I come to Austin by way of 183 I stop at this sub shop. It is truly worth stopping at. I have tried a variety of their subs and all of them are great! |
