Been going to Paul's for years. The local high school counter help can sometimes be inconsistent in their service, but they all TRY, which is more than can be said for many other places.
Paul is now in his NEW place. Some of us preferred the off-kilter of the "old" Paul's, but the new place works o.k., also.
There are other dishes, but Paul Gates' burgers are what his fame is built upon. Keep up the good work, Paul! |

I had a megaburger with cheese and some fries on my way to the coast. The beef was juicy and the fries fresh--in fact, they were made earlier that day. The place has a nice mom-and-pop feel to it and thankfully lacks all the visual garbage of a franchise restaurant. Nice touches of Americana; album covers, stars & stripes, etc. found throughout the restaurant.
The staff were friendly and the owner was working in kitchen alongside them.
Great restaurant! |
