If you are from New York, this Deli is closer to your taste buds than say "New York Deli" in Santa Fe. Allied has Fried Calamari (they look liked onion rings, not the finger-sized things you can get at any Italian restaurant in New York).
The Reubens are fantastic. They have Louisiana Muffaletas. They have a Philly Steak and Cheese with Dip, prime rib sandwiches, cold sandwiches ("Boar's Head" brand meats). And best of all, they stock your favorite Dr.Brown's soda (Cel-Ray, Lime, Rootbeer, and Black Cherry!!). Now if they could only get that extra hot Ginger Beer the Jamaicans in NYC drink. Back when we had Gordon's Record Store (Gordon folded), Allied was next door, and it was better then because of the added atmosphere; but it's still a very good place to eat. |

Allied has been serving the best lunches in town for over ten years. Their deli sandwiches are fresh & use quality meats, cheeses, and bread. Hard to beat! Take home steaks & fresh fish on Fridays! Cannot find anything to compare them to in the area! |

A wide variety of delicious sandwiches made with quality ingredients. Or pick out some fine meats and cheeses to take home. Good coffee--cheaper than the coffee places. Best sirloin burger around--this is NOT a "hamburger"! |
