After enjoying many friday nights playing pool, foosball,or just relaxing on a cold winter night next to the wood burning stove with great company of friends and happy strangers,Ate a steak and baked potato dinner,YUMMY! The steak is great, cooked just as I wanted, the service is "homey" friendly style, love it! I no longer live in New Mexico, sure miss that place! I suggest going, gives a great small town feel,
No other place is like it! step back into old time charm, and decor!Unique!Great for the drinks, either a couple, group of friends,or a family, including the pet!Love it! |

An old rural school gets reincarnated into one of the Southwest's most unique watering holes. Unfortunatly it is probably one of the most overlooked attractions of the area as accessing the Adobe Deli requires travel over a few miles of dusty, rough, and irregular rural roads. Still worth getting the car dirty, however, as the portions are as generous as the atmosphere. Due to the history of the building, it's a wonderful place to show up wearing vintage schoolboy attire. After chugging a few beers, it's easy to imagine those kids playing ball in that old gymnasium which now houses the restaurant. |
