Generally good pizza, but even if I call ahead, I end up waiting and waiting. One time I called in, and when I showed up, they had forgotten to make the pizza. Often feels chaotic and stressful in there. Surly staff sometimes, too. |

We love their pizza, but they cannot find our house which is 6 minutes away.
Try #1 - 1 hr 15 minutes late. Driver called three times for directions.
Try #2 - 40 minutes late. Driver called twice. Manager offered $20 credit.
Try #3 - 1 hr late...fought us over redeeming credit. We are done. |

Don't let the humble name fool you. This place has the best pizza you can find in Massachusetts. The owner explained to me that he uses ingredients that are superior to those of most pizza joints. For instance, he pays much more for a higher quality tomato sauce, and you can tell the difference. I'm from New York, and I know pizza. |

I've had a number of dishes there. The buffalo chicken pizza is truly fantastic if you like that kind of thing. Slightly expensive at almost $17 for a large but the ingredients seem very fresh and the spice is not over powering.
Sandwiches are good. On par or slightly better than most for the money, typically around $5-6.
Atmosphere is very basic. 2 tables, total of 4 chairs. |

I went to a friend's house in Medford and she ordered pizza from Joe's. I am definitely going out of my way (and I live in Boston) to order from Joe's again. |

Just had another slice of pizza from Joe Pizza in W. Medford. I have to believe this is some of the best pizza in the area. Sauce is always fresh and crust is always perfect. More toppings than you could ever wish for. Also, steak tips subs are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Tasty, tender, and piled high. If you are a wings fan, you have to try these, hot and juicy. |
