No facials or herbal wraps here; for those who don't know, a "spa" in the Boston area is another name for a convenience store. But this isn't just a convenience store (and yes, it does have some typical convenience store items for sale), either. It offers subs and pizzas for takeout or eating at the few seats in the shop. The decor is basic, like most pizza and sub shops.

If you're a transplant from Jersey or New York, this is your place to get a pie. The crust is the most like back home I've had in the Boston area. It keeps me coming back time and time again. Personally, I think its the best in Boston. Real nice folks working there too, and they give back to the community. I'm very glad to have the Spa in my neighborhood. |

I always get the Lucky Gansta wrap - nothing beats it. I travel here from Newton for lunch often. It is worth the trip and getting yelled at for taking too long of a lunch. |

Beyond the shadow of a doubt, this is the best sub shop/pizza joint in the greater Boston area. My pops and I order from the spa at least twice a week. The service is superb and the local spirit is alive and flowing within this small but excellent business. It has a blue collar essence to it that makes you feel welcome. I recommend the next time you're in the area, give this place the respect it deserves, and buy something to eat. You won't regret it. |

The absolute best. I remember going to the spa when I was 4 years old and seeing the same people that I see now. The food is unreal |
