This second outpost of Bottega Fiorentina doesn't have quite the same quirky charm as the original -- I miss the Italian grocery items and the long picnic table -- but the food is just as good, and it's still a bargain. The less busy location on the edge of Brookline Village also means that it's usually not as crowded as the original, so the chances of finding a seat are often better. This location looks a bit more like a standard deli, but don't be fooled. The sandwiches are made with the same great bread and high quality fillings as at the original, and the pastas are still made to order. Both locations are excellent choices for inexpensive, casual meals. |
