Inexpensive carryout lunch and dinner, with just a couple indoor and outdoor seats. Very busy at dinner time. Cash only.

The most expensive item on the menu here is the $12 fish special of the day dinner. You get a generous serving of fresh fish, usually salmon or ono, prepared with some fabulous sauce, such as mushroom-caper or chili-cilantro. You also get a big scoop of sticky rice and your choice of a side of cooked vegetables or macaroni salad. It's all served in styrofoam, very handy for taking back to eat on the lanai (balcony) of your condo or hotel room.
The reason why the fish dinners here are as good as many of the $28 fish dinners at Maui's best restaurants, is that John, the owner & chef here, used to be a chef at Mama's Fish House (one of Maui's top expensive restaurants). |
