The food is good ,some of the portions are a bit small but OK in taste. The place is a little too small and cluttered the decorations are taking over and the owners are friendly but they gossip too much about other peoples business. Sometimes it gets old. I just want to sit, have my coffee and breakfast before going to work. I've stopped by a couple of times for a late lunch and I can't keep track of their nutty schedule.Just one complaint the ice cream is not fresh |

I think the food is excellent. Everything they make is homemade. The owners are so sociable and kind to talk to. All their meat is Hebrew National{kosher}. |

I stopped to have a quick and quiet lunch, just a warm pastrami on rye and a cup of coffee. I had an excellent lunch, and ran into old friends. |

Pastrami and brisket are excellent. Corned beef is also very good (best in area but a step below its corned beef and brisket). If you want mustard, ask for it on the side. The mustard had a bad aftertaste during the times I visited. Owners are very friendly. Jukebox has great music from the 50s. Deli meat is kosher. Fulfils unmet need for a superior kosher deli in the Hartford area. |

Excellent turkey sandwich. Too big to finish. Ice cream blows away any chain. Lots of neat antques to see and buy if you desire. |
