I must admit that I have to agree with the entire city of Bakersfield in saying that Luigis is, by far, the best place to eat. Besides the food being unbelievably great the service is better than anywhere I have been. The last reviewer mentioned that he and his friends have spent several thousand dollars at the restaurant and I can personally vouch for that because I am one of the three that meet up at Luigis as often as possible. We all live in different cities and do whatever it takes to meet there for lunch. Not only is Luigis a great place to eat but it is a wonderful family environment. I will speak for the three of us in saying that not only is Luigis food fantastic but we will always have great memories there. There is not a single item on the menu that one of us has ordered that is not something to die for. I recommend any of the daily specials or any of the sandwiches that are offered. Don't just take it from me and try it yourself. |

I am not exaggerating when I say my friends and I have probably spent nearly five thousand dollars in this incredible place since we first started going there about five years ago. That's really saying something when a common lunch is about ten bucks. The food is unparalleled and the atmosphere is definetely the type of place you can sit back and relax. Ask for Nancy in the middle room and enjoy a killer back rub while she runs down the specials for you. Don't miss the NY steak or the Butterfinger Pie for dessert. I have literally driven home from San Diego and Sacramento to Bakersfield to meet my friends for lunch at Luigi's. What more can I say, the place is damn near perfect. |

So simple and meant to be this way makes Luigi's my favorite restaurant. All the food is great; try any of the weekend specials, they are always scrumptuous! |
